VA Recruiters to Attend Medical Conferences in November and December
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs said its recruiters will attend six events across the country in November and December 2026 to discuss employment opportunities at the department.
According to the VA, recruiters will staff booths at several medical professional meetings. These include the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation meeting in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 11-14; the American Society for Clinical Pathology Annual Meeting in Montreal, Nov. 17-20; RSNA 2026 in Chicago, Nov. 29 to Dec. 3; the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in Vail, Colorado, Dec. 7-11; and the American Society of Hematology annual meeting in New Orleans, Dec. 12-15. The release named five of the six events.
The VA said it offers employees a choice of health plans that cover preexisting conditions. It said it pays up to 75% of health premiums, a benefit that can continue into retirement. According to the department, employees receive 13 to 26 paid vacation or personal days, 13 sick days a year with no limit on accumulation, and 11 paid federal holidays. The VA said it also provides education incentives.
"Stop by the VA booth and have a conversation with one of our recruiters," National Healthcare Recruiter Terry Anderson said in the release.
The VA said a full schedule of events is available through VA Careers.
