Gunfire at SEPTA's 56th Street station in West Philadelphia on Sunday evening wounded a 14-year-old boy and two men, and no one had been arrested as of the latest reports, according to several Philadelphia news outlets.

6abc, CBS Philadelphia and NBC10 all placed the shooting at about 6:45 p.m. at the Market-Frankford Line stop near 56th and Market streets. FOX 29, citing police, said officers were called at 6:44 p.m. to the 5600 block of Market Street.

The most seriously hurt was a 26-year-old man who suffered five gunshot wounds, CBS Philadelphia reported, citing police. He was in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Police said the teenager had two wounds to his left arm and two more to his upper right thigh, while the 25-year-old was hit three times, with one bullet striking his right arm and two striking his back, according to CBS Philadelphia and NBC10. Both were reported stable.

The outlets gave differing accounts of where the shooting took place. FOX 29, using police information, said it happened on a SEPTA platform. NBC10 noted that police first gave that location before a SEPTA spokesperson said the gunfire was outside the station. CBS Philadelphia quoted the SEPTA spokesperson as saying two victims were struck outdoors, and the third, who was riding a bicycle inside the vestibule, was hit there and ran farther into the station.

Police told 6abc that surveillance footage captures the gunman shooting at the three as they headed up the steps toward the tracks. According to NBC10, police said the footage suggests at least one victim was deliberately targeted.

Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace told 6abc that the boy seemed to be accompanying one of the men, but investigators did not know whether all three were acquainted. "It's unclear who exactly was being targeted by the shooter," Pace said, according to 6abc.

Reports also conflict on whether a gun was found. According to 6abc, police found a handgun inside a backpack, though its link to the shooting was not known. FOX 29 and NBC10 reported that police did not recover a weapon. NBC10 and FOX 29 said no suspect description had been made public.

6abc reported that SEPTA planned to run trains through the 56th Street stop without stopping, in each direction, until the end of service Sunday.

The shooting came at the end of a violent Halloween weekend in Philadelphia, though the outlets' counts differ. FOX 29, citing police, tallied 11 shootings and stabbings that killed three people and injured 11. CBS Philadelphia said shootings on Halloween night killed three people, among them a 15-year-old, and injured seven. NBC10 reported that at least two people were killed over the weekend.

NBC10 reported that police want anyone with information to contact the department or call the anonymous tip line at 215-686-8477.
