Fitness influencer Liam Fitzgerald dies after motorcycle crash, girlfriend says

Liam Fitzgerald, a social media influencer with more than 1 million followers, has died of injuries from a motorcycle crash, according to his girlfriend, as reported by Gray News in a story carried by Dakota News Now, Live 5 News, Cleveland 19 and 1011 Now.

The news came from Jamie Lynrin, who identified herself as Fitzgerald's girlfriend in a social media post. She wrote that the crash happened at about 2 a.m. on Oct. 30 and that Fitzgerald died afterward.

Lynrin said Fitzgerald was severely injured. She wrote that "despite the efforts of those who tried desperately to save him, they were unable to bring him back," according to the Gray News report.

The reports did not say where the crash happened, how it happened, or whether anyone else was involved or hurt. They also did not say whether police or other officials had commented, or give Fitzgerald's age or hometown. The account of his death came solely from Lynrin's post.

Fitzgerald's online content covered fitness, personal branding and finance, Gray News reported. The outlet said his website advertised one-on-one coaching in both fitness and social media.

In her post, Lynrin described the grief felt by those close to him. "There are no words to describe the heartbreak of this loss," she wrote, according to Gray News. She added that it was a very hard time for everyone who knew and cared about him.

The four stations ran the same Gray News article, and none of them published more details beyond what Lynrin shared. No information about memorial plans had been reported.
