Two people, a 15-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, died after being shot in separate incidents in Philadelphia on Halloween night, local outlets reported, citing city police. The two fatal shootings were reported roughly one minute apart.

The earlier of the two came in at 6:49 p.m. from the 1200 block of North Redfield Street in West Philadelphia, according to FOX 29. Responding officers discovered the 40-year-old with several bullet wounds and brought him to a hospital, where he later died. The outlets gave slightly different times of death: FOX 29 said it was a little after 7:15 p.m., while NBC10 reported 7:18 p.m.

According to NBC10, Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace said the person sought in that killing was a former partner of the victim's girlfriend. NBC10 reported that police had not arrested anyone or located a weapon in that case and that detectives were still working on it.

A minute after the West Philadelphia call, officers were sent to the 3600 block of Richmond Street in Port Richmond, FOX 29 reported. There, police came upon the teenage boy, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. FOX 29 said hospital staff declared him dead at 7:18 p.m.

The outlets' reports conflict on whether anyone is in custody in the teen's death. CBS Philadelphia, citing police, said a 40-year-old man had been detained in connection with the Port Richmond killing. FOX 29, however, reported that as of Saturday night police had arrested no one in any of the evening's shootings. CBS Philadelphia did not say whether the man in custody had been charged.

FOX 29 also described a third, nonfatal shooting at about 7:15 p.m. in Fairhill. In that case, a 32-year-old man was wounded in the hip on the 200 block of East Cambria Street. Emergency crews took him to a hospital, and police said Saturday night that his condition was stable, FOX 29 reported.

Investigators did not find any guns at the three locations, according to FOX 29.

Police are asking people with information about any of the shootings to call 215-686-TIPS (8477). NBC10 said tips may also be shared anonymously.
