The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information technology specialists to work across its network of more than 1,300 locations, according to a careers feature the department published on October 30, 2026. The VA said the roles can serve as early-career positions and that supervisory and project management roles are also available. On benefits, the department said it offers a choice of health plans that cover preexisting conditions and pays up to 75% of health premiums, a benefit that can continue into retirement. According to the VA, employees receive 13 to 26 paid vacation and personal days, 13 sick days a year with no limit on accumulation, and 11 paid federal holidays. The department said job openings are listed at VA Careers.
