Business Spotlight: Safirion Technologies Brings IT Support to Small Offices in Odenton
Safirion Technologies is a Black-owned technology business based in Odenton, Maryland. Led by owner KJ Wilson, the company works as an information technology managed service provider for small businesses and offices.
The company's focus is specific. Safirion Technologies serves small businesses and offices that do not have their own dedicated IT department. In its application, the business described itself in just those terms: a managed service provider for small workplaces without in-house tech staff.
For readers who are not familiar with the term, a managed service provider is an outside company that a business can turn to for help with its technology, instead of hiring its own full-time IT team. For many small offices, that kind of arrangement can make it easier to get technical help when it is needed.
That is the gap Safirion Technologies aims to fill. Many small businesses depend on computers, networks and other technology every day, but they may not have the size or budget for a full IT department. A provider like Safirion offers those businesses another option.
Wilson's company is part of a growing number of Black-owned businesses working in the technology field. By serving small businesses and offices, Safirion Technologies supports the kinds of local workplaces that many communities rely on.
The company's home base is Odenton, a community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Small business owners in and around the area who have been handling their own technology needs, or who have been looking for outside IT support, may want to learn more about what Safirion Technologies offers.
The business told True News it is not hiring at this time.
